Description

An entry-weight powered chair for people who need to lift it in and out of a car without help. The aluminum-alloy frame brings the whole chair to 33 lb, and it folds down to fit a standard sedan trunk or the overhead bin of a bus.

What it does well

Twin 180W brushless motors give steady progress indoors and on sidewalks. The 10.4Ah lithium battery lifts out for charging, so you can leave the chair in the car and take the battery inside. A 360° joystick mounts on either armrest, and a mute control and SOS alert button sit on the same panel.

Safety and handling

Electromagnetic braking engages as soon as you release the joystick, backed by a manual hand brake, a seat belt and anti-tilt rear supports. Solid rubber wheels — 8 inch front, 12 inch rear — never need inflating and cannot puncture.
