About Velnostra

Velnostra sells folding electric wheelchairs to customers across the United States. We started
trading in 2026. We are a small independent retailer, not a manufacturer and not a
marketplace.

How we operate

We buy chairs outright from our suppliers and hold them in stock at our own premises. When you
order, the chair is picked, checked and shipped by us. Nothing is drop-shipped: your order does not
get forwarded to a third party who ships it on our behalf, and it does not arrive in a supplier’s
packaging with a supplier’s paperwork inside.

Holding stock is why we can tell you honestly whether something is available, and why a return
comes back to us rather than being routed overseas.

What we sell, and what we do not

We sell one category: folding powered wheelchairs, from ultra-light travel chairs of around
28 lb up to heavy-duty models rated to 350 lb. We publish the weight, the range, the motor rating
and the load rating for every chair, taken from the manufacturer’s own specification.

We do not sell mobility scooters, manual wheelchairs, hospital beds or stairlifts. We do not
offer clinical assessment, we do not prescribe equipment, and we are not a supplier to any
insurance or Medicare program. If you need a chair specified for a particular medical condition,
please talk to an occupational therapist or a clinician first — we can then tell you whether
anything in our range fits what they recommend.

On the range figures

Every range figure in this catalog is a manufacturer estimate measured on level ground with a
light rider. Real distance is shorter, sometimes much shorter, on hills, on soft ground, in cold
weather, or as a battery ages. We publish the manufacturer figure because it is the only
like-for-like number available, and we say plainly on every product page that it is an estimate.
If a chair has to cover a specific distance reliably, tell us the distance and the rider weight
and we will say whether we think it will do it.
